Why not stop by Goose Lake if you're passing through these parts. Goose Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Cliff Point Campground is a splendid local campground, and Madison River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Goose Lake; Blind Creek Trail is a nice local trail, and close by you discover wonderful spots like Lost Mine Canyon. | | with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Otter Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and a great place to camp here at Goose Lake is Hilltop Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Anglers Lodge. Through the warm months here at Goose Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. Take a little spree to Brimstone Creek while you're here at Goose Lake; a lake close by is Hidden Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Goose Lake without first going
for a hike along the Myers Creek Trail; whitewater paddling is good on Madison River. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Goose Lake. Good hiking is available along the Tin Cup Trail, and Hidden Lake Bench is an out of the ordinary thing to catch a glimpse of while you're here.
