If you are in Glacier county it's always a good idea to stop by Goose Lake. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Red Eagle Trail. High temperatures at Goose Lake all through the long summer days are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. While you're here at Goose Lake you can take a hike along the Saint Mary Lake Trail, and why not camp at Chewing Blackbones Campground if you're here at Goose Lake. Goose Lake gets very little rain; most of the rain falls during June; the driest month is February. On a perfect day at Goose Lake you can take a hike along the Cut Bank Pass Trail; if you're looking for a pleasant journey, Glacier National Park is quite near.
