The beauty of Golden Lake attracts many people from all around. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. The top of Lonesome Mountain is easily seen from Golden Lake, and camping at Island Lake Campground is always a good experience. to Abandoned Lake, it's a pretty lake.
If you need a site to stay Cary Inn is a wonderful choice, and Golden Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Beartooth Lake Campground is a magnificent local campground.
The annual rain here at Golden Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month is October. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Absaroka Range rocks! While you're here at Golden Lake you can take a hike along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail.
