What a nice lake Golden Lake is. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Golden Lake has to offer, you can camp at Beartooth Lake Campground, and there's whitewater on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River for all you thrill seekers. From a precipitation point of view Golden Lake is a pretty common place; most of the rain falls through June, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range.

say, this is a great neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Ghost Lake is a lake nearby. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Absaroka Range. Yodeler Motel is a brilliant spot to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful.
Hit the slopes at Red Lodge Mountain in the neighborhood, and the Beauty Lake Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. So much fun stuff to do in the Absaroka Range, not enough time. At Golden Lake you can spot Lonesome Mountain;
there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Upper Granite Loop Trail. At Golden Lake through the warm months highs are in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Golden Lake.
