If you are in Mineral county it's always a good idea to stop by Gold Lake. Gold Lake is a good location of typical precipitation; January is the month that gets the most snow; July is when it's the driest. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Bitterroot Range, too delightful to be true. Lakes? Sure, Hub Lake is nearby; Gold Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Silver Dollar Inn Campground is a great local campground. Summer at Gold Lake arrives

For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's while Gold Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Gold Lake is located in the Bitterroot Range. Lookout Pass is tremendous. Ward Peak is striking and can be seen from Gold Lake; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - St. Regis. Camping at Conrad Crossing Campground is always a perfect experience, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Storm Peak Trail.
