You'll need more than a day to discover everything Gold Lake has to offer, you can camp at Caribou Campground, and unsurprisingly Gold Creek flows through this vicinity. Lakes are fine; Lake Geneva is a lake that's next to Gold Lake, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Turner Mountain is quite near. A great vista of scenic Robinson Mountain is available from Gold Lake, and not far from Gold Lake       you'll discover Plumb Bob Lake which is a wonderful lake. From a rain point of view Gold Lake is a rather typical place; the month with most of the rain is November, and July on the other hand is the driest. There's so much to do here at Gold Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Peck Gulch Campground is a good place for that. For the period of the long summer days here at Gold Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. During the moonlight                  hours it's ordinarily in the 40's.
