    Why not stop by Goat Lakes if you're passing through these parts. Go for a hike on the Slide Rock Mountain Trail, and a short visit to Big Spring is always worthwhile. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Goat Lakes, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, mostly in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Goat Lakes dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. If you came for an overnight stay Copper  
   King Campground is a pleasant place to camp; there are pleasant locations to look at along the West Fork Fishtrap Trail.
Round Top Mountain is trouble-free to spot from Goat Lakes, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Vermilion River. This lake is so wonderful. Gold Rush Campground is a pleasant local campground, and not far from Goat Lakes you'll discover Deer Lake which is a scenic lake. So many entertaining
 
               things to do here at Goat Lakes, too pleasant to be true. Lakes? Sure, Duckhead Lake is in the neighborhood, and going for a hike on the Thompson River Mount Headley Trail is always a magnificent adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. The amount of rainfall that falls at Goat Lakes is close to the national average; January is the wettest month with most snow; July meanwhile is the driest month. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a good choice, and Rodeway Inn Libby is a brilliant place to get some rest.
