     Goat Lakes is great enough to spend more than a day at, Copper King Campground is a great local campground, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a pleasant choice. For the duration of the warmest time of the year, highs frequently are in the 80's at Goat Lakes. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's while Goat Lakes nighttime low temperatures through  
   the wintertime are in the 10's. You'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Deer Lake near Goat Lakes, and Rodeway Inn Libby is a great place to get some rest. While you're here at Goat Lakes, you could also pop by picturesque Duckhead Lake, and there's great hiking along the Thompson River Mount Headley Trail.
The yearly precipitation here at Goat Lakes is about average; the month with most of the snow is January, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Hiking
 
               is a popular thing to do around Goat Lakes; West Fork Fishtrap Trail is a pleasant local trail; get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of Vermilion River. This lake is so wonderful.
This lake is so wonderful. Round Top Mountain is a peak you can observe from Goat Lakes, and Big Spring is always fun to check out. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Goat Lakes rules! The Slide Rock Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best, and camping at Gold Rush Campground is always a wonderful experience.
