    Beautiful Goat Lake has much to offer visitors. A normal amount of rain falls here at Goat Lake; December is when you get the most snow here, and April is the month with the least moisture. Goat Lake is one of the lakes here in the Lewis Range. Be careful coming to the Lewis Range, you might not ever want to go back home again. If you get bored of Goat Lake, you could also explore nearby Otokomi Lake, and Many Glacier Campground is a good local campground.
 
   This lake is so wonderful. Rose Basin is right here at Goat Lake; Baring Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at. This lake is so wonderful. The sights at Glacier National Park will blow your mind, and the view of Goat Mountain is picturesque. That right there is loads of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Lewis Range has it all. Why not camp at Rising Sun Campground since you're here at Goat Lake, and Sunrift Gorge is  
               a delightful place to check out.
Summertime highs at Goat Lake frequently tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Goat Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. Soar down the rapids of Flathead River - Middle Fork in a kayak, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Many Falls Trail. Taking a little trip to close by Going-to-the-Sun Point is a delightful idea; do take a hike on the Water Ouzel Trail.
Having a brilliant time at Goat Lake is painless. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Baring Falls, and going for a hike along the Siyeh Pass Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
