    Why not stop by Goat Lake if you're passing through these parts. Don't leave Goat Lake without first going for a hike along the Siyeh Pass Trail; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Baring Creek. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Lewis Range. Baring Falls is an inspiring site to visit during your stay, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Lost Lake. Goat Lake gets a typical amount  
   of yearly precipitation; most of the snow falls during December; the driest month is April.
Summer brings highs in the 70's to Goat Lake, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Goat Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Flathead River - Middle Fork, and the panorama of
 
               Goat Mountain is picturesque. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves Rose Basin; going to Glacier National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
This lake is located in the wonderful Lewis Range. So many entertaining things in the Lewis Range, just remarkable. Sunrift Gorge is close to Goat Lake and is a perfect place, and a good place to camp here at Goat Lake is Many Glacier Campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Rising Sun Campground is always a great experience, and going for a hike on the Water Ouzel Trail is always a pleasant adventure. If only every location had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great planet it would be. Go for a hike on the Many Falls Trail, and you are near Going-to-the-Sun Point if you're here.
