    Goat Lake is a lake worth visiting. There's so much to do here at Goat Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Island Lake Campground is a brilliant location for that, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. This lake is so wonderful. Glacier Lake North Dam is not far at all from Goat Lake, and if you're here, you could also go to beautiful Albino Lake. For the duration of the warm  
   days of summer highs here at Goat Lake reach the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 30's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Goat Lake.
A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Goat Lake; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and October is the month with the least moisture. Be careful coming to Goat Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. Do set aside some
 
               time for Beartooth Plateau while you're here at Goat Lake, and the sight of stunning Spirit Mountain is glorious.
So much fun stuff to do here in the Absaroka Range, too glorious to be true. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Clay Butte Trail, and Cary Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. Goat Lake is located in the Absaroka Range. Man, is there a heap of cool stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. Dry warm beds await you at Old Crow Agency, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Goat Lake; Beauty Lake Trail is a magnificent local trail.
Red Lodge Mountain has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff, and if you came to camp Beartooth Lake Campground is a splendid location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Interesting geology is available here; Grasshopper Glacier is close to Goat Lake, and there's nice hiking along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail.
