Man, is there heaps of enjoyable things to do close to Goat Lake. Here at Goat Lake you can make out Spirit Mountain, and hiking along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail is splendid fun. This lake is so wonderful. This is a delightful region for people who like lakes. Frosty Lake is a lake in close proximity, and some interesting geology is available here, Grasshopper Glacier is right here. And if that's not enough there's lots more exciting stuff to do in the

| | Absaroka Range. Why not camp at Beartooth Lake Campground since you're here at Goat Lake, and going for a hike along the Clay Butte Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Beauty Lake Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Yodeler Motel is a brilliant choice. is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Glacier Lake North Dam is worth stopping at while you're here, and Beartooth Plateau is right here at Goat Lake. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. There are some
great whitewater spots on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River, and a day on the slopes of Red Lodge Mountain is just what you need. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Goat Lake, and the nighttime is a little colder
of course, mostly in the 30's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Goat Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. You're probably interested in lakes, Sheep Lake is one of those close by, and camping is available at Island Lake Campground.
