Gnome Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Gnome Lake while overnight lows are commonly in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Gnome Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Near Gnome Lake you discover the Lightning Creek Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Madison River. Any time is
a great time at Gnome Lake if you adore the outdoors. The Cutoff Trail is a splendid hiking trail in the vicinity of Gnome Lake, and the view of Dutchman Peak is pretty. If you came for an overnight stay Rock Creek Campground is a tremendous place to camp, and West Fork Cabins & Rv is a magnificent place to get some rest.
