For the duration of the summer at Gneiss Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. Bow Basin is a lovely site any time of year, and going for a hike on the Quartz Hill Trail is always a wonderful adventure. So many exciting       things to do at Gneiss Lake, so little time. If you need a site to stay Copper King Hotel & Convention Center is a tremendous choice, and you obtain a perfect sight of Leggat Mountain from here. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Mill Creek Campground, and there are other locations here than Gneiss Lake, for example Bell Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Whitehall; close by you stumble on the Currant Creek Trail which is a splendid                  hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Leggat Creek if you're here at Gneiss Lake; a splendid spot to camp here at Gneiss Lake is Balanced Rock Campground. Bell Lake Dam is a site that is in close proximity to Gneiss Lake, and the Pedro Trail is a good hiking trail close by.
