All year is a tremendous time in the Absaroka Range if you go for the outdoors. Looking for some flowing water? Try Falls Creek, and a good location to camp here at Glissade Lake is Emerald Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Rosebud Creek - West is so much fun. Glissade Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. At Glissade Lake during the summertime highs are in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures

| | dip down into the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Glissade Lake all through the winter regularly fall into the 0's. Falls Creek Lake is a nice lake next to Glissade Lake; a tremendous vista of pretty Snowbank Mountain is available. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Red Lodge Mountain, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Copeland Lake Trail. Glissade | |

Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, East Rosebud Campground is a splendid local campground; do take a hike on the Lake Reno Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Absaroka Range. A delightful
lake like Bergschrund Lake right next door to Glissade Lake is a great location to pop by, and get covered with water paddling on Rosebud Creek - East. Glissade Lake gets a typical amount of annual rain; June is when you get the most
rain here; October meanwhile is the driest month. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Glissade Lake. Put some time aside to spend at Charlie Falls while you're here at Glissade Lake, and Glissade Lake is right by the Crazy Mountain Trail.
