This lake is so wonderful.
If you come at the right time of year, Kootenai Creek offers some good whitewater. A short tour to Balsam Spring is always worthwhile; hiking along the Quigg Peak Trail is delightful fun. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike
along the Butte Cabin Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Gleason Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Gold Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground.
