Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Glacier Lake all through the winter mostly descend into the 10's. Glacier Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Half Moon Campground is a great local campground. There's whitewater on Big Timber Creek for all you adrenaline people, and what would a spot       like Glacier Lake be without exciting close by marks like Grasshopper Glacier. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Crazy Mountains. Conical Peak is trouble-free to spot from Glacier Lake; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Lone Lake. Around Glacier Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. The Crazy                  Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful.
