After a long day outdoors Hubbards Ponderosa Lodge is a splendid spot to spend a night or two; Glacier Lake Dam is delightful. For the period of the long summer days at Glacier Lake highs are generally in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Glacier Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.       Hiking is a popular thing to do around Glacier Lake; BLue Mountain Nature Trail NRT is a tremendous local trail, and you'll stumble on a charming lake called Sanders Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Glacier Lake there are plenty of folks from Missoula, and there's brilliant hiking along the Blue Mountain Equestrian and Hiking Trail. Glacier Lake is a location that is rather arid ordinarily; all through June this area sees the most rain while February                  is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do in the vicinity of Glacier Lake. Gotta ski! Marshall Mountain is a delightful place to do that, and you get a fine view of Mosquito Peak from here. Why not camp at Jellystone RV Park if you're here at Glacier Lake; a beautiful lake like Glacier Lake is a wonderful place to go to. St Mary's Motel is a good local campground. Grant Creek Basin is a lovely spot any time of year; soar down the rapids of Mill Creek in a kayak.
