You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Marshall Mountain if you're here, and do go to Big Lake, it's a charming lake. Glacier Lake is a location that is pretty dehydrated frequently; June is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. The Blue Mountain Equestrian and Hiking Trail is a brilliant hiking trail near Glacier Lake,       and Holiday Inn Express Missoula-Riverside, Mt is a great place to get some rest. Glacier Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. What would winter be without some skiing at Montana Snowbowl, and at Glacier Lake you always meet someone from Missoula. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid close by hotel is Hubbards Ponderosa Lodge, and Glacier Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out. Mill Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling                  spot close by; you can catch a glimpse of Mosquito Peak from Glacier Lake. There is a good hiking trail in close proximity to Glacier Lake called the BLue Mountain Nature Trail NRT; St Mary's Motel is a tremendous campground here. Camping at Glacier Lake is glorious fun, Jellystone RV Park is a glorious local campground; do set aside some time for Grant Creek Basin if you're here at Glacier Lake. Through the summer highs here at Glacier Lake get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's.
