For the period of the summer months, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Glacier Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs       in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Glacier Lake are in the 10's. Here at Glacier Lake you'll probably meet some people from Missoula, and a day on the slopes of Montana Snowbowl is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Glacier Lake Dam in the vicinity of Glacier Lake is pretty, and after a long day outdoors Hubbards Ponderosa Lodge is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on                  the Blue Mountain Equestrian and Hiking Trail is always a pleasant adventure; get covered with water paddling on Mill Creek. Grant Creek Basin is a pleasant site to stretch your legs a bit. Man, is there plenty of cool things to do in the neighborhood of Glacier Lake. Stay the night at Jellystone RV Park, and not far from Glacier Lake you'll discover Sanders Lake which is a charming lake. Go for a hike on the BLue Mountain Nature Trail NRT; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Marshall Mountain is reasonably near. The top of Mosquito Peak is easily made out from Glacier Lake.
