Gipsy Lake is located in the Big Belt Mountains. So much entertaining stuff in the Big Belt Mountains, just unbelievable. Lakes? Sure, Edith Lake is nearby, and Gipsy Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Conestoga Campground is a nice place to camp nearby. Throughout the long summer days at Gipsy Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and during summer nights       temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are frequently in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Gipsy Lake tend to be in the 10's. Go for a hike on the Divide Trail, and Skidway Campground is a great campground nearby. Gipsy Lake gets very little precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
