Gildart Lakes is always a pleasure to visit. Summertime highs at Gildart Lakes frequently tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Gildart Lakes are in the 10's. A perfect site to camp here at Gildart Lakes is Crossover Campground; as expected Swift Creek is a scenic stream that is worth stopping at. Gildart

This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Bear Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Gildart Lakes; Battery Mountain Trail is a fine local trail. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Lewis Range. After a long day outdoors Twin Creeks Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. of Gildart Peak can be seen from Gildart Lakes, and don't leave Gildart Lakes without first going for a hike along the Wire Trail.
A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Gildart Lakes; the wettest month of the year is
generally December, that's the one that snows the most; July is when it's the driest. Bridge Street Cottages is a great place to get some rest, and Gildart Lakes is great enough to spend more than a day at, Soup Creek Campground is
a great local campground. So much fun stuff to do in the Lewis Range, not enough time. Rock Lake is a delightful lake next to Gildart Lakes, and great hiking is available along the Lion Creek Trail.
