Gibson Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Lewis Range. There's great hiking along the Mortimer Gulch National Recreation Trail, and Gibson Reservoir is a wonderful lake close by. Just can't get enough of the Lewis Range. Gibson Reservoir is a location that is relatively dehydrated frequently; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most,       and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Beaver Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth taking a look at; do set aside some time for Green Timber Basin since you're here at Gibson Reservoir. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things close to Gibson Reservoir. Blacktail Gulch is a splendid site to spend some time at, and you can stay the night at Home Gulch Campground. And that's not all the things to do here in                  the Lewis Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the South Fork Teton-Blacktail National Recreation Trail, and there's always Gibson Dam to stop at close to Gibson Reservoir. The Fairview Trail offers hiking at its best; Mortimer Gulch Campground is a pleasant campground here. For the period of the long summer days at Gibson Reservoir highs are frequently in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
