The beauty of Ghost Lake is reason enough to stop by. Camping at Lake Creek Campground is always a wonderful experience, unsurprisingly you could also pop by Alp Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Man, is there loads of amusing stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. Ghost Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Beartooth Lake Campground is a good local campground, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Cary Inn. From a precipitation point of view Ghost

| | Lake is a rather typical place; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is October.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Clay Butte Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Big Moose Resort is a wonderful spot to get some rest. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. Summertime at Ghost Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's while nighttime lows are usually in the 30's. | |

Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Ghost Lake.
Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Granite Loop Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Clarks Fork
Yellowstone River. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do near Ghost Lake. Take a hike on the Upper Granite Loop Trail.
