Lake Gertrude is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. Red Lodge Mountain is a very popular ski area nearby. You completely
have to love the Absaroka Range. There's so much to do here at Lake Gertrude that you need to camp here for a while, Nelson Campground is a fine location for that, and a lake nearby is Silver Run Lakes.
Drift down the rapids of
Rock Creek in a kayak. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Gertrude has to offer, you can camp at Bots Sots Campground.
