You'll need more than a day to explore everything Garlick Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Blaine Resort Campground; a good close by hotel is Glacier Mountain Lodge. High temperatures at Garlick Lake through the summer months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows                  at Garlick Lake through the winter regularly descend into the 10's. Around Garlick Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Alpine Trail; while you're here, you might as well check out Brown Gulch. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Flathead River - Middle Fork offers some magnificent whitewater. There's so much to do here at Garlick Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Beautiful Lake Blaine Resort is a great site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Doris Creek Trail, and playing golf is lots of fun at Mountain Crossroads Restaurant & Golf Club. Any time is a good time at Garlick Lake if you like the outdoors.
