     This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Absaroka Range. Here at Froze-to-Death Lake you can catch a glimpse of Froze-to-Death Mountain; if you come at the right time of year, Rosebud Creek - West offers some glorious whitewater. This lake is so wonderful.
From a rain point of view Froze-to-Death Lake is a relatively common place; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain,
 
   and October is when it's the driest. While you're here at Froze-to-Death Lake, you could also have a look at scenic Brent Lake, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Red Lodge Mountain since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Phantom Glacier is an interesting thing to make out while you're here at Froze-to-Death Lake, and Froze-to-Death Lake is right by the Crazy Mountain Trail.
High temperatures at Froze-to-Death Lake all through
 
               the warmest time of the year are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 30's. Throughout the winter highs are usually in the 20's while Froze-to-Death Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Absaroka Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Why not camp at East Rosebud Campground if you're here at Froze-to-Death Lake, and camping is available at Emerald Lake Campground. So much cool stuff to do here at Froze-to-Death Lake, too great to be true. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Rosebud Creek - East; hiking along the Lake Reno Trail is magnificent fun.
Going for a hike along the Copeland Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Lake Turgulse is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
