    Frog Pond Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Twin Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground; Frog Pond Lake is right by the Big Hole National Recreation Trail. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Frog Pond Lake. A day on the slopes of Lost Trail is just what you need. You absolutely must have a thing about the Bitterroot Range. Indian Trees Campground is a good campground nearby, and  
   hiking along the Ax Park Way is pleasant fun.
During the warm months here at Frog Pond Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's; the overnight is somewhat colder of course, regularly in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Frog Pond Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot Range. This lake is so wonderful. Frog Pond Lake is not
 
               the only location close by, Allan Lake is a close by lake, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Divide Trail.
If you get bored of Frog Pond Lake, you could also check out nearby Pass Lake; if the weather is lovely, you acquire a tremendous panorama of Hughes Point from Frog Pond Lake. At Frog Pond Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is May, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
