This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Lake Frances has it all. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the North Boundary Trail, and Glacier National Park is a very pleasant place to stop at. Just can't get enough of the Lewis Range. On a great day at Lake Frances you can take a hike along the Boulder Pass Trail. For the duration of the warm days       of summer at Lake Frances temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's; the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Frances temperatures plunge to the 0's. Lake Frances is frequently a pretty dry site; most of the snow falls throughout December; April on the other hand is the driest. From Lake Frances you get a glorious vista of Chapman Peak;                  the landscape is dominated by the Livingston Range. While you're here at Lake Frances you can take a hike along the Waterton Valley Trail, and a pretty lake like Cameron Lake is a magnificent place to go to. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake Frances that you need to camp here for a while, Logging Creek Campground is a great site for that; Dixon Glacier is an interesting site to have a look at while at Lake Frances. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Lewis Range.
