Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Clarks Fork Yellowstone, and not far from Fossil Lake you'll discover Basin Lake which is a pretty lake. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Absaroka Range will keep you coming back over and over. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Crazy Mountain Trail.

This lake is so wonderful. Camping
at Fox Creek Campground is always a splendid experience, and the top of Bald Knob is easily spotted from Fossil Lake. So much amusing stuff to do at Fossil Lake, so little time. After a long day outdoors Antlers Lodge is a great spot
to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Chief Joseph Campground. Fossil Lake is located in the Absaroka Range.
