For the period of the summertime here at Fly Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Fly Lake. A lake nearby is Boulder Lake; you can go for a hike on the Iris Point Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Boulder Point is clearly visible from       Fly Lake, and a day on the slopes of Marshall Mountain is just what you need. If you came for an overnight stay Twin Campground is a perfect place to camp; the skiing at Montana Snowbowl is good. Fly Lake gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture. Cedar Campground is a magnificent campground nearby, and if you need a place to stay Hubbards                  Ponderosa Lodge is a delightful choice. Having a pleasant time at Fly Lake is easy.
