This place is great, just look at all the exciting things to do near Florence Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Florence Lake has to offer, you can camp at Coyle's RV Park, and this is a popular place for people from Missoula. This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Lewis Range. The       Holland Gordon Trail is a fine hiking trail near Florence Lake; near Florence Lake you hit upon a golf course called Double Arrow Golf Course. If the weather is good here at Florence Lake, you can go for a hike along the Morrell Falls National Recreation Trail, and Morrell Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. During the long summer days at Florence Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down                  into the 40's. Throughout the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Florence Lake. Florence Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Lewis Range is so good!. It's always great to go to Morrell Falls, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Pyramid Pass Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Blackfoot River.
