This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. The yearly rainfall here at Florence Lake is about average; January is the wettest month with most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Man, is there heaps of entertaining stuff to do in the Lewis Range. A picturesque lake like Morrell Lake close to Florence Lake is a great place to explore. All through the summer       at Florence Lake temperatures are generally in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Florence Lake. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blackfoot River, and if you came for an overnight stay Coyle's RV Park is a splendid location to camp. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come                  on down to Florence Lake. Go for a hike on the Holland Gordon Trail, and a short visit to Morrell Falls is always worthwhile. There is a delightful hiking trail close to Florence Lake called the Morrell Falls National Recreation Trail, and do go to Seeley Lake, it's a lovely lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Pyramid Pass Trail is always a nice adventure, and you'll most likely meet some people from Missoula here. You completely should like the Lewis Range.
