Flathead Lake is ordinarily a quite dried up location; throughout June this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Why not take a look at Vista Point also if you're here; Best Western Kwataqnuk Resort is a great spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Crow Creek Trail. High temperatures at Flathead Lake through the summertime are in the 80's       while night lows are mostly in the 50's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Flathead Lake are in the 10's. You could also stop at Pablo Reservoir while you're here at Flathead Lake; it's close by, and on a wonderful day you obtain a great sight of Rocky Butte from Flathead Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Flathead River; after a long day outdoors Bayview Inn                  Budget Host Polson is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Polson Flathead Lake KOA is a great place to camp, and nearby Weythman Gulch is a good spot to go. What would winter be without some skiing at Blacktail Mountain, and Flathead Lake is not the only place close by, Jette Lake is a close by lake. So many entertaining things to do at Flathead Lake, so little time.
