This lake is so wonderful. Wymore Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; Flathead Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Big Sky RV Resort and Campground is a great local campground. Flathead Lake gets very little rainfall; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. A lake nearby is Estes Lake, and don't leave Flathead Lake without first       going for a hike along the Wolf Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Flathead Lake; Alpine Trail is a pleasant local trail; the slopes of Blacktail Mountain are so inviting nobody can resist. Good hiking is available along the Peterson Creek Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Swan River offers some delightful whitewater. For the period of the days of summer highs here at Flathead Lake get into the                  70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while Flathead Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Just can't get enough of Flathead Lake.
