A perfect spot for whitewater paddling close to Flanders Lake is Yellowstone River, and why not camp at Palace Butte Campground if you're here at Flanders Lake. Mulherin Creek is a great whitewater spot near Flanders Lake; you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Pole Gulch Trail. Around Flanders Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls through May, and February meanwhile is the driest month. All the outdoors enjoyable things

a quick tour to Flanders Creek is certainly a great idea. Hiking along the Red Rock Trail is perfect fun; if you came for an overnight stay Blackmore Campground is a tremendous spot to camp. Bridger Bowl is a brilliant local ski
area, and you'll probably meet some folks from Bozeman here. For the period of the summertime highs here at Flanders Lake get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the
30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Flanders Lake fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not take a look at Emerald Lake close to Flanders Lake, and Western Heritage Inn is a great location to get some rest.

Incredible expert only skiing is available off Bridger's new Schlasman's Chairlift and on the renowned ''Ridge.'' Skiers and snowboarders who wish to ride the new lift or access this terrain, collectively known as Ridge Terrain, must have an avalanche transceiver (457 kHz). It is strongly recommended to have a partner, a shovel and expert skiing abilities in addition to knowledge of the terrain before venturing into the area which will have no hazard markings, no grooming and no marked trails. Ridge Terrain contains numerous steep chutes, rock cliffs, and snowfields which may end in unmarked cliffs.
