If you are in this part of Montana make sure to pay a visit to Lake Five. This is a popular spot for folks from Kalispell, and do take a hike on the Columbia Mountain Trail. Paddling on Flathead River - Middle Fork is so much fun. Lake Five gets very little precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and the driest month of the year is April.

The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Lake Five, and the overnight is slightly colder of course, typically in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lake Five. Lake Five is a beautiful lake in the Lewis Range.

Rubideau Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth stopping at, and Swanberg Mountain is clearly visible from Lake Five. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly
is abundant here in the Lewis Range. You'll find a beautiful lake called Halfmoon Lake near Lake Five; why not take a refreshing hike along the Howe Lake Trail.
