This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. At Lake Five you don’t see much rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and April is the month with the least moisture. That right there is plenty of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Lewis Range has it all. Lake Five is right by the Columbia Mountain Trail, and camping is available at San Suz-Ed Trailer Park Campground. If       you need a place to stay Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a tremendous choice; lakes are such serene locations, why not explore Halfmoon Lake. That right there is loads already, but it continues; Lake Five has it all. Lake West is a nice lake close to Lake Five, and a nice place for whitewater paddling is Flathead River - Middle Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Howe Lake Trail, and if you're looking for a nice journey,                  Glacier National Park is pretty near. Summertime highs at Lake Five ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Lake Five descend into the 0's. Rubideau Creek is a stream that you may come across while you're here, and a good nearby hotel is Bad Rock B&B. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Flathead River - Middle Fork; during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Kalispell for sure. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Lewis Range. If you came for an overnight stay Glacier Campground is a glorious spot to camp, and playing golf is lots of fun at Glacier View Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful.
