Camping is available at Rocky Mountain Campground; a good nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Yellowstone North. You absolutely should fancy the Absaroka Range. Lakes are such calm locations, why not go to Fish Lake near Five Lakes, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Mulherin Creek. Not sufficient hours in a       day to enjoy this location. Get covered with water paddling on Yellowstone River, and at Five Lakes you can make out Sheep Mountain. Five Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range. For the period of the summer months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Five Lakes. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Five Lakes. At Five Lakes you don’t see much precipitation;                  the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Man, is there lots of entertaining things to do in the Absaroka Range. Going for a hike on the Beaver Lakes Loop Trail is always a glorious adventure. This lake is so wonderful.
