Get soaked paddling on Vermilion River, and there are other spots here than Fishtrap Lake, for example Crescent Lake. Fishtrap Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. | | stretch your legs a bit. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Wee Peak is easily seen from Fishtrap Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Daisy Creek Trail. An average amount of rain falls at Fishtrap Lake; January is when you get the most snow here, and July is the month with the least moisture. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Cabinet Mountains. Fishtrap Lake is a beautiful lake in the Cabinet Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Fishtrap Lake during the months of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. Through
the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's while Fishtrap Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a great place to spend a night or two, and a great place to camp here at Fishtrap Lake is Fishtrap Campground.
