The top of Wee Peak is easily seen from Fishtrap Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Daisy Creek Trail. An average amount of rain falls at Fishtrap Lake; January is when you get the most snow here, and July is the month with the least moisture. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Cabinet Mountains. Going for a hike on the West Fork Fishtrap Trail is always a splendid adventure, and why not camp at                  Willow Creek Campground while you're here at Fishtrap Lake. Fishtrap Lake is a beautiful lake in the Cabinet Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Fishtrap Lake during the months of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's while Fishtrap Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
