Just can't get enough of Fish Lake. Soar down the rapids of Big Sand Creek in a kayak; Bear Creek Pass Campground is a great local campground. All through the warm months at Fish Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Fish Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Not far from Fish Lake, you'll discover Fish Lake

goes on, the Bitterroot Range has it all. Don't leave Fish Lake without first going for a hike along the Trapper Peak Trail; getting to Twelvemile Creek from Fish Lake is uncomplicated. This lake is so wonderful. There's brilliant
hiking along the North Route Of Old Nez Perce Trail. Be careful coming to the Bitterroot Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Lost Trail has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff, and Best Western Hamilton Inn is a
magnificent site to get some rest. Fish Lake is a good place of common rainfall; January is when you get the most snow here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Tag Alder Lake
 | 15 miles away I venture up to Tag Alder every year. It is getting more and more difficult to get up there because of the new growth of trees from the fires of 2000. Once there it is beautiful lake. Another half hour hike up and you will be at the summit of the mountain. There is a nice camp area on North shore. Fishing is best in late spring using small spinners or powerbait.... |
