Fish Lake is ordinarily a pretty dried out place; the wettest month of the year is usually June, that's the one that rains the most; February is the month with the least moisture. There's whitewater on Sunday Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and Bull Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. You can run the rapids of Stillwater River near Fish Lake, and the Fort Steele Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby.

usually reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Fish Lake plunge into the 10's. If you're here
at Fish Lake, checking out Point of Rocks is a must; if you get bored of Fish Lake you could also stop at nearby Hidden Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Martin Falls Campground is always a splendid experience; if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Mount Marston National Recreation Trail.
