If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Lewis Range. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Flathead River - Middle Fork, and Fish Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Avalanche Campground is a glorious local campground. Going for a hike along the Lincoln Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty       of this vicinity; McDonald Falls is always fun to check out. This lake is one of the great places here in the Lewis Range. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is plentiful here in the Lewis Range. While you're here at Fish Lake you can take a hike along the Mount Brown Lookout Trail, and why not a little side trip to Jackson Creek. Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a great site to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Fish Lake that you need to camp                  here for a while, Sprague Creek Campground is a fine location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Snyder Ridge Trail is splendid fun, and if you come at the right time of year, Flathead River - Middle Fork offers some brilliant whitewater. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. A visit to Glacier National Park is worthwhile, and if you're here, you could also check out pretty Upper Snyder Lake. An average amount of rainfall falls at Fish Lake; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest of the months is July. Through the summer months, highs typically are in the 80's at Fish Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's.
