There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Big Mountain, and lakes are such calm spots, why not pop by Little Bootjack Lake. A perfect nearby hotel is Kristianna Mountain Homes, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Kalispell here. High temperatures at Fish Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime

The Mountain Meadow Trail is a brilliant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Fish Lake, and Birch Meadow is right here at Fish Lake. This lake is so wonderful. some magnificent whitewater spots on Stillwater River. Stay the night at Tally Lake Campground; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Sunday Creek. If you love the outdoors, you'll like Fish
Lake. After a long day outdoors Grouse Mountain Lodge is a great site to spend a night or two, and going for a hike on the Reid Divide Trail is always a splendid adventure.
