The beauty of Fish Lake is reason enough to stop by. If you need a place to stay Grouse Mountain Lodge is a great choice, and Birch Meadow is a pleasant place to check out. Looking for some flowing water? Try Logan Creek; the Reid Divide Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. Fish Lake is mostly a reasonably dehydrated location; June is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February.

| | like lakes. Bootjack Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and you can run the rapids of Stillwater River. This lake is so wonderful. A great spot for whitewater paddling near Fish Lake is Sunday Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Tally Lake Campground is a delightful campground here, and the snow is great at Big Mountain.

if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Tally Mountain Billy Creek Trail. Fish Lake is a good place to camp, Dog Creek Campground is a good place, and going for a hike along the Mountain Meadow Trail will let you
absorb the natural beauty of this region. At Fish Lake throughout the summertime highs are in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and night lows at Fish Lake all through the winter generally drop into the 10's.
