Marshall Mountain has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff, and obviously, this is a perfect region for folks who like lakes, Big Lake is a lake close at hand. During the months of summer highs here at Finley Lakes reach the 80's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, commonly in the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Finley Lakes dipping down into the 10's all through       winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western Grant Creek Inn is a nice choice, and from Finley Lakes you obtain a great view of Murphy Peak. La Quinta Inn Missoula is a great place to get some rest, and there are glorious places to discover along the Blue Mountain Equestrian and Hiking Trail. Finley Lakes is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Cedar Campground is a nice local campground; get your heart pumping                  on the great whitewater of Mill Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves Grant Creek Basin, and you can go for a hike on the BLue Mountain Nature Trail NRT. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do near Finley Lakes. There's so much to do here at Finley Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Jellystone RV Park is a great place for that; possibly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Glacier Lake is just a very short distance away. Finley Lakes is a site with many visitors from Missoula, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Montana Snowbowl.
