Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Lewis Range. After a long day outdoors Bad Rock B&B is a good spot to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Flathead River - Middle Fork. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Lewis Range will keep you coming back again and again. A good nearby hotel is Glacier Park Super 8 Motel, and why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Mountain Crossroads       Restaurant & Golf Club. Fawn Lake is located in the Lewis Range. If you came for an overnight stay Crooked Tree Motel and RV Park is a perfect site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Columbia Mountain can be made out from Fawn Lake, and there are plenty of folks from Kalispell here. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Fawn Lake, too good to be true. A delightful lake like Doris Lakes in close proximity to Fawn Lake is a wonderful site                  to go to, and Fawn Lake is right by the Doris Creek Trail. Fawn Lake is a good spot of normal rain; during the month of November you get the most rain around here while July is generally the driest month. Hiking along the Alpine Trail is brilliant fun, and get drenched paddling on Swan River. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Hungry Horse Campground, and do have a look at Jenny Lake, it's a beautiful lake. Do pay a visit to Glacier National Park since you're here at Fawn Lake, and the Columbia Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Fawn Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's.
