The Lewis Range scenery is always beautiful. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Fawn Lake. Camping is available at Crooked Tree Motel and RV Park, and if you need a place to stay Bad Rock B&B is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. One of the governing characteristics of the surroundings of Fawn Lake is Columbia Mountain, and don't leave Fawn Lake without first going for       a hike along the Columbia Mountain Trail. Swan River is a brilliant whitewater spot near Fawn Lake. You can run the rapids of Flathead River - Middle Fork near Fawn Lake, and after a long day outdoors Glacier Park Super 8 Motel is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Lewis Range. This is a magnificent area for people who like lakes. Lion Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and Glacier National Park is a                  splendid local destination. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Lewis Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Fawn Lake; Alpine Trail is a fine local trail, and if you're here and you like golf, you can check out Mountain Crossroads Restaurant & Golf Club. The annual precipitation here at Fawn Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is July. All through the summertime months here at Fawn Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and overnight lows at Fawn Lake all through the winter frequently drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. At Fawn Lake you always meet someone from Kalispell, and there's fine hiking along the Doris Creek Trail.
