Fault Lake is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Clover Meadows Campground is a nice location to camp nearby. Near Fault Lake you locate the Hyde Creek Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Fault Lake has to offer, you can camp at Upper Lake Campground. There is a tremendous hiking trail in the vicinity of Fault Lake called the       Gazelle Creek Pack Trail; if you need a spot to stay Anglers Lodge is a nice choice. At Fault Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Fault Lake sink into the 10's. At Fault Lake you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is June, and February is when it's the driest.                  This lake is so wonderful.
