You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the area in the vicinity of Farmers Lakes has to offer. Peterson Lake Dam has pleasant water scenery and it's near Farmers Lakes, and a delightful place for whitewater paddling is Mill Creek. Head up to Marshall Mountain and strap some skis to your feet; the friendly people of Missoula like to hang out nearby. Not far from Farmers       Lakes, you'll come across Lower Lake of Twin Lakes which is a beautiful lake; on a fine day you can take a hike along the Iris Point Trail. A good nearby hotel is Hubbards Ponderosa Lodge, and since you're here you can take a hike along the BLue Mountain Nature Trail NRT. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Montana Snowbowl is just what you need, and if you came to camp Blue Slide Campground is a perfect spot to do that. There's so much to                  do here at Farmers Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Jellystone RV Park is a fine place for that, and if the weather is gorgeous, you acquire a great sight of Stuart Peak from Farmers Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Farmers Lakes, for example Twin Lakes, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Blue Mountain Equestrian and Hiking Trail. Not much rain falls here at Farmers Lakes; June is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Missoula-Riverside, Mt is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Farmers Lakes during the summertime months are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's.
