The Iris Point Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close to Farmers Lakes, and Peterson Lake Dam is a lovely place. If you need a place to stay Hubbards Ponderosa Lodge is a magnificent choice, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike along the Blue Mountain Equestrian and Hiking Trail. Farmers Lakes is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Jellystone RV Park is a perfect local campground, and Holiday       Inn Express Missoula-Riverside, Mt is a magnificent place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is pleasant at Marshall Mountain, and there's whitewater on Mill Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Montana Snowbowl is near Farmers Lakes, and a nice place to camp here at Farmers Lakes is Blue Slide Campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things right next door to Farmers Lakes. On a                  magnificent day at Farmers Lakes you can take a hike along the BLue Mountain Nature Trail NRT, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not take a look at Carter Lake. It is very dry here at Farmers Lakes generally; the wettest month of the year is commonly June, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. All through the summer months highs here at Farmers Lakes get into the 80's with night lows in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Farmers Lakes dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
