If you are in Carbon county it's always a good idea to stop by Farley Lake. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Absaroka Range. There is a pleasant hiking trail right next door to Farley Lake called the Crazy Mountain Trail; the summit of Crazy Mountain can be seen from Farley Lake. | | always go whitewater paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River; everyone close by loves skiing at Red Lodge Mountain. This lake is so wonderful.
This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Crazy Creek Campground, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Copeland Lake Trail. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River, and if you need a location to stay Cary Inn is a great choice. That right there is plenty of entertaining | |

things already but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all. Near Farley Lake you locate the Lake Reno Trail which is a fine hiking trail, and lakes are such serene spots, why not have a look at Anchor Lake.
This lake is located
in the wonderful Absaroka Range. Throughout the long summer days at Farley Lake highs are generally in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 30's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 20's; winter
nights come with lows in the 0's to Farley Lake. Farley Lake gets a common amount of annual rain; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month of the year is October.
Camping at Lake Creek Campground is always a glorious experience, and a good nearby hotel is Big Moose Resort.
