If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Falls Creek Lake. Falls Creek Lake is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, East Rosebud Campground is a wonderful site to camp nearby, and there's perfect       hiking along the Lake Reno Trail. That right there is plenty of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Absaroka Range has it all. A visit to Falls Creek Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Charlie Falls, and Rosebud Creek - East has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by. Stay the night at Emerald Lake Campground, and splendid hiking is available along the Crazy Mountain Trail. From a rainfall point of view Falls Creek Lake is a quite                  normal place; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while October is mostly the driest month. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Red Lodge Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff. Summertime at Falls Creek Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and the night is a tad cooler of course, regularly in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Falls Creek Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Copeland Lake Trail, and Little Scat Lake is a magnificent lake close by. Be careful coming to the Absaroka Range, you might not ever wanna go home again.
