Falls Creek Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Absaroka Range will keep you coming back over and over. Cary Inn is a delightful spot to get some rest, and a trip to Falls Creek Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Charlie Falls. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Big Moose Resort; get your heart beating on the delightful whitewater of Rosebud Creek - East. Not enough

Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Rosebud Creek - West, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Red Lodge Mountain is rather near.
A typical
amount of precipitation falls here at Falls Creek Lake; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at East Rosebud Campground,
and the peak of Snowbank Mountain can be spotted from Falls Creek Lake.
At Falls Creek Lake during the summertime highs are in the 70's, and the overnight is somewhat chillier of course, typically in the 30's. During the wintertime
highs are typically in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Falls Creek Lake. Not far from Falls Creek Lake, you'll find Bergschrund Lake which is a scenic lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Lake Reno Trail.
