    Expedition Lake is a lake worth visiting. If you need a place to stay Arrowhead is a brilliant choice. Rock Creek Campground is a great campground nearby; don't leave Expedition Lake without first going for a hike along the Lightning Creek Trail. Having a perfect time at Expedition Lake is uncomplicated. Go for a hike on the Cutoff Trail; you can stay the night at Beaver Creek Campground 1.

   of Expedition Lake is Dutchman Peak, and hey, Gotta ski right? Moonlight Basin is a wonderful place to do that. Expedition Lake is a location that is rather dry usually; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. A pretty lake like Crag Lake near Expedition Lake is a brilliant site to stop at, and close by Expedition Pass is a delightful site to go.

               resist; do have a look at Lake Ha Hand, it's a beautiful lake. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Madison River, and places like Hilgard Basin are perfect to stop by. Summertime highs at Expedition Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. Highs all through the winter are typically in the 30's; overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Expedition Lake tend to be in the 10's.

It starts out near a small pond called Moose Lake, follows a path up some dense forest for a couple of miles, then opens up into these huge rolling meadows surrounded by Cedar Mountain, Pioneer Mountain, and Lone Mountain with a great view of Sphinx Mountain in the distance....
