And that's not everything you can do here in the Lewis Range. If the weather is perfect here at Lake Evangeline, you can go for a hike along the Flattop Mountain Trail. So much exciting stuff in the Lewis Range, just incredible. Going for a hike along the Camas Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and if you haven’t been to Glacier National Park,       you should schedule some time for it while you're here. At Lake Evangeline all through the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and the night is fairly cooler of course, generally in the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lake Evangeline. This lake is so wonderful. A picturesque lake like Ruger Lake in the neighborhood of Lake Evangeline is a magnificent site to explore; why not                  camp at Avalanche Campground since you're here at Lake Evangeline. Middle Fork River Inn is a good place to get some rest; camping is available at Sprague Creek Campground. After a long day outdoors Belton Chalet is a good place to spend a night or two; from Lake Evangeline you obtain a pleasant vista of Longfellow Peak. Lake Evangeline is one of the lakes here in the Lewis Range. It is very waterless here at Lake Evangeline mostly; during the month of December you get the most snow around here, and the driest month is April. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Lake Evangeline.
