Trout Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out; you can go for a hike on the Waterton Valley Trail. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. While you're here at Lake Evangeline, you could also have a look at delightful Dutch Lakes, and Glacier National Park is a perfect site nearby. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Lewis Range. Going for a hike on       the Flattop Mountain Trail is always a good adventure, and you can stay the night at Sprague Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Near Lake Evangeline you stumble on the Camas Creek Trail which is a great hiking trail, and a great close by hotel is Glacier Park Super 8 Motel. Longfellow Peak is trouble-free to spot from Lake Evangeline. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Evangeline has to offer, you can camp at Avalanche Campground.                  For the duration of the days of summer here at Lake Evangeline, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's.
