Through the summertime months here at Estes Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Estes Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Peterson Creek Trail       is always a glorious adventure, and Eagle Bend Golf Club is a glorious golf course close by. Stay the night at Woods Bay Marina and RV Park; don't forget to take a great little tour to Hunger Creek. Estes Lake is a delightful spot to visit for more than one day, Ronde'vue Park is a delightful spot to camp nearby, and time spent at Long Beach is always fine. Estes Lake is pretty dry ordinarily; June is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month                  is February. This lake is so wonderful. There is a tremendous hiking trail next to Estes Lake called the Noisy Creek Notch Trail, and if you need a place to stay Best Western White Oak Grand is a great choice. Dry warm beds await you at Bridge Street Cottages, and if you've had enough of Estes Lake, Loon Lake is close by. A spree to close by Woods Bay is very relaxing; Estes Lake is not the only location close by, Horseshoe Lake is a close by lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot.
