If you are traveling by, why not stop by Esplin Lake. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Esplin Lake. Camping at Painted Rocks State Recreation Campground is always a fine experience; lakes are such calm sites, why not pop by Watchtower Lake. Esplin Lake is a good place of common precipitation; January is when you get the most snow here while July is usually the driest month. Esplin Lake is right by the South Route Old Nez Perce Trail;

| | Best Western Hamilton Inn is a great site to get some rest. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Bitterroot Range. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Old Nez Perce Trail is tremendous fun, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Lost Trail. The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful. has it all. The North Route Of Old Nez Perce Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you came to camp Little West Fork Campground is a good location to do that. High temperatures at Esplin Lake throughout the summertime are in the
80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Esplin Lake. Visit North Fork Sheephead Creek while you're here at Esplin Lake, and you'll hit upon a lovely lake called Jerusalem Lake.
