Many people like to go to Emerald Lake. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. The amount of rain that falls at Emerald Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls throughout June; the driest of the months is October. There's whitewater on Rosebud Creek - West for all you adrenaline junkies, and you're probably keen on lakes, Slough Lake is one of those close by.

| | be made out from Emerald Lake, and getting to Chicken Creek from Emerald Lake is trouble-free. Camping is available at Pine Grove Campground, and the scenery at West Rosebud Lake Dam is pretty. This place rules, just check out all the amusing things to do in the vicinity of Emerald Lake. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Rosebud Creek - East, and Emerald Lake is right by the Copeland Lake Trail.

Absaroka Range rocks! Looking for something in the vicinity of Emerald Lake? West Rosebud Lake is close at hand, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Lake Reno Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Crazy
Mountain Trail is wonderful fun. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Emerald Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 20's, and night lows all through the wintertime
for Emerald Lake tend to be in the 0's.
Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more fun things to do here in the Absaroka Range. Camping at Emerald Lake Campground is always a great experience, and you can never get enough of the delightful skiing at Red Lodge Mountain.
