Go to Lake Elsie if you want to go to a nice lake. Windy Pass is in the vicinity of Lake Elsie and is positively a good place to take a look at; Big Sky Resort is a good place to get some rest. Campground is a great place to camp nearby. There is a great hiking trail close to Lake Elsie called the Red Rock Trail, and Ramshorn Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. This lake is so wonderful. During your tour to Lake
Elsie you'll meet some folks from Bozeman for sure. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs mostly are in the 80's at Lake Elsie, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs
are in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Elsie dip into the 10's. Not much precipitation falls here at Lake Elsie; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
