Elk Lake is a beautiful lake in the Cabinet Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Just can't get enough of the Cabinet Mountains. Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a magnificent place to get some rest, and hiking along the Elk Mountain Trail is wonderful fun. This lake is so wonderful. Elk Lake is a perfect spot to visit for more than one day, Lake Creek Campground is a perfect spot to camp nearby, and Elk Lake is not the only place nearby, Grouse Lake is a

You could also explore Bear Lake if you're here at Elk Lake; it's close by, and on a beautiful day you get a delightful sight of Allen Peak from Elk Lake. 10's. Elk Lake is right by the Allen Peak Trail; Miners Gulch is in the vicinity, and is a magnificent place. Elk Lake is frequently a relatively dried out spot; all through November this area sees the most rain, and the driest
month of the year is August. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Elk Lake. Willow Creek Campground is a great local campground; as expected Grouse Creek is a pretty stream that is worth stopping at. The Himes Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Vermilion River.
