Elk Lake is a lake worth visiting. So many cool things to do in the Cabinet Mountains, not enough time. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a perfect choice, and a perfect place to camp here at Elk Lake is Willow Creek Campground. Elk Lake is one of the lakes here in the Cabinet Mountains. A pleasant site to check out right next door to Elk Lake is Miners Gulch, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Elk Lake; Himes Creek Trail is a good

Elk Lake is a location that is rather dry mostly; during November this area sees the most rain while August is generally the driest month. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Cabinet Mountains. Why not camp at Lake Creek Campground since you're here at Elk Lake; there are some good whitewater spots on Vermilion | |
